As some of you may know, I have wanted to put a database behind the site for a long time. Well I’ve finally figured it out. It’s a lot of work, but it’s coming along nicely. Visitors won’t really notice much change on the site except it will become more automated. With the database I will be able to add samples in a fraction of the time. Everything will remain cross-referenced, but there won’t be that element of human error that we’ve lived with for years (those broken links that people find for me from time to time). I already have the swap sign-up automated. You will now register with your e-mail and a password so you can sign up			for swaps and other things in the future. I hope to have most of the code done in March sometime. There’s a lot more work to do after that getting the database full of all the samples that are currently on the site. I could use some help with this part. If any of you think you could spare even a few hours to help please let me know. I’ll take all the help I can get. Once the database work is done I will have a lot more free time to add samples, run swaps and contests, and add other helpful information to the site.
