Tissue Paper and Freezer
Paper Gift Wrap |
| |
| |
If tissue paper alone is to thin for your gift
wrap, try applying it to freezer paper. It's as simple as lying the finished
tissue paper on the glossy side of freezer paper and quickly ironing to
meld them together. See Tissue Paper
Gift Wrap for decorating the tissue paper, then follow the instructions
below to iron them together. |

| |
Supplies: |
| |
| |
- tissue paper, white or colored
- ink pads
- stamps or wheels
- freezer paper
- iron
| |
Step 1: |
| |
Stamp your tissue paper as desired. Warm your
iron to a dry heat (no steam). |
| |
| |
Step 2: |
| |
Cut a piece of freezer wrap the desired size.
Lay it on your ironing board, glossy side up (this is the plastic coated
side). |
| |
| |
Step 3: |
| |
| Optional: Bunch
up the tissue paper. Flatten it back out, leaving some wrinkles in
place. This adds a bit of texture to the finished paper. |
| |
| |
Step 4: |
| |
Lay the tissue paper on top of the freezer paper.
(this may be done in either order, freezer paper on bottom/ tissue paper
on top or tissue paper on bottom/ freezer paper on top). |
| |
| |
Step 5: |
| |
| Press the two layers together.
Hold the iron in one place for 5 - 10 seconds, then move on to the
next area. Continue until both layers are completely melded together. |

Variation: |
| |
You may sandwhich several things between the
two layers for different effects. Try sprinkling some of the following on
the paper before adhering the two layers together: |

| Embossing Powder |
Pearl Ex |
Punched Shapes |
