| ||||||||
| Step 1: | ||||||||
| Spray a piece of acetate with spray adhesive. Be sure to protect your work surface so the adhesive doesn't get on it. Also, you should be sure you have good ventilation as the fumes can be strong. | ||||||||
| Step 2: | ||||||||
| Lightly dust with glitter or pearl ex powder. | ||||||||
| ||||||||
| Step 3: | ||||||||
| Stamp designs on any combination of tissue paper, mulberry paper, or vellum. You can use different colors of each. You may want stamped tissue paper, and nothing on the mulberry paper, or stamp all pieces. It's a collage so you want some variety. | ||||||||
| ||||||||
| Step 4: | ||||||||
| Tear the paper into small pieces and layer randomly on the acetate, overlapping one another occasionally. You may need to spray a little extra adhesive where pieces overlap. | ||||||||
| ||||||||
| Step 5: | ||||||||
| You may also add pieces of confetti, tiny pieces of paper or cardstock, or fibers for additional interest. The may be done before or after (or both) the paper layer (step 4). | ||||||||
| ||||||||
| Step 6: Optional | ||||||||
| Once you have all layers attached, you may spray the piece with adhesive again and apply it to a piece of solid paper or cardstock. Or you may leave it so that when you attach it to your project you can see through to the colors on your project. | ||||||||
| ||||||||
| Step 7: | ||||||||
| Cut into pieces or shapes to use on your project. You may stamp on the front of the acetate with a permanent ink such as StazOn. | ||||||||
| ||||||||
| Step 8: | ||||||||
| Use the pieces on your card or other artwork. | ||||||||
